Joe Parker (Joe Jackson Parker) was born on July 11, 1923 in Wichita Falls, Texas. After going to high school at Wichita Falls (TX), Parker attended the University of Texas. Parker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Joe Parker's best year.
