Joe O'Malley (Joseph Patrick O'Malley) was born on January 1, 1933 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Technical (Scranton, PA), O'Malley attended the University of Georgia. O'Malley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1956 was Joe O'Malley's best year.
