Born on May 7, 1866 in Wadsworth, Ohio, Joe Neale (Joseph Hunt Neale) played for the Louisville Colonels and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 4 year career. Neale broke into the bigs on June 21, 1886 with the Louisville Colonels, and put up a 3.39 ERA in 69 innings pitched in 1890, his rookie year.
