Born on November 11, 1920 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Joe Murray (Joseph Ambrose Murray) played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 1 year career. Murray broke into the bigs on August 17, 1950 with the Philadelphia Athletics.
