Joe Morgan (Joe Winfred Morgan) was born on October 23, 1938 in DeRidder, Louisiana. After going to high school at DeRidder (LA), Morgan attended McNeese State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. Morgan made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
