Joe Moeller

Born on February 15, 1943 in Blue Island, Illinois, Joe Moeller (Joseph Douglas Moeller) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers for his entire 8 year career. Moeller broke into the bigs on April 12, 1962 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 5.25 ERA in 85.2 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Joe Moeller's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1970, when he posted a 3.92 ERA and struck out 63 batters. However, others believe that it was 1964, when he posted a 4.21 ERA and struck out 97 batters.
