Joe Mcshea (Joseph Maurice McShea) was born on December 13, 1899. After going to high school at Charlotte (NY), Mcshea attended the University of Rochester. Mcshea made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played for the Rochester Jeffersons for his entire 1 year career.
