Joe Mcclain (Joseph T. McClain) was born on April 5, 1905. After going to high school at Shenandoah (PA), Mcclain attended Canisius College and St. John's University. Mcclain made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
