Joe Marhefka (Joseph C. Marhefka) was born on February 16, 1902 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Marhefka attended Lafayette College and Pennsylvania State University. Marhefka made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Philadelphia Quakers. He played for the Philadelphia Quakers for his entire 1 year career.
