Joe Marconi (Joseph George Marconi) was born on February 6, 1934 in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Fredericktown (PA), Marconi attended West Virginia University. Marconi made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Joe Marconi's best year, as he ran in 5 TDs.
