Joe Manley (Joseph Jackson Manley) was born on September 20, 1929 in Town Creek, Alabama. After going to high school at Hazelwood (Town Creek, AL), Manley attended Mississippi State University. Manley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
