Joe Malkovich (Joseph Nicholas Malokovich) was born on January 17, 1912 in Calumet, Michigan. After going to high school at Chisholm (MN), Malkovich attended Duquesne University. Malkovich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
