Joe Maese (Joseph Michael Maese) was born on December 2, 1978 in Morenci, Arizona. After going to high school at Cortez (Phoenix, AZ), Maese attended Phoenix College and the University of New Mexico. Maese made his professional debut in the NFL in 2001 with the Baltimore Ravens. He played for the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 2002 was Joe Maese's best year.
