Joe Lonnett (Joseph Paul Lonnett) was born on February 7, 1927 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1956 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .169 with 5 home runs and 15 RBI. Lonnett played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 4 year career.
