Joe Lokanc (Joseph A. Lokanc) was born on March 11, 1917 in East Chicago, Indiana. After going to high school at East Chicago (IN), Lokanc attended Northwestern University. Lokanc made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time. Lokanc also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Rockets the entire time.

Most people believe that 1941 was Joe Lokanc's best year.
