Joe Lavender (Joe Lavender) was born on February 10, 1949 in Rayville, Louisiana. After going to high school at Central (El Centro, CA), Lavender attended San Diego State University. Lavender made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Joe Lavender's best year, as he picked off 8 passes.
