Joe Krakauskas

Born on March 28, 1915 in Montreal, Quebec (Canada), Joe Krakauskas (Joseph Victor Lawrence Krakauskas) played for the Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career. Krakauskas broke into the bigs on September 9, 1937 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.12 ERA in 121.1 innings pitched in 1938, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Joe Krakauskas's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1939, when he posted a 4.60 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 110 batters. However, others believe that it was 1938, when he posted a 3.12 ERA and struck out 104 batters.
