Born on January 30, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joe Kerrigan (Joseph Thomas Kerrigan) played for the Montreal Expos and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 4 year career. Kerrigan broke into the bigs on July 9, 1976 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 3.81 ERA in 56.2 innings pitched in 1976, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Joe Kerrigan's best season was 1977, when he posted a 3.22 ERA and notched 11 saves.
