Born on October 30, 1961 in Brookline, Massachusetts, Joe Johnson (Joseph Richard Johnson) played for the Atlanta Braves and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 3 year career. Johnson broke into the bigs on July 25, 1985 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 4.10 ERA in 85.2 innings pitched in 1985, his rookie year.
