Joe Isbell (Joseph Bob Isbell) was born on July 7, 1940 in Gorman, Texas. After going to high school at Little-Cypress (Orange, TX), Isbell attended the University of Houston. Isbell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 4 year career.
