Joe Haynes (Joseph H. Haynes) was born on March 26, 1921 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Haynes attended Oklahoma Military Academy, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa. Haynes made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
