Joe Hauser (Joseph John Hauser) was born on January 12, 1899 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1922 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1922, his rookie year, he hit .323 with 9 home runs and 43 RBI. Hauser played for the Philadelphia Athletics and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Joe Hauser's best season was 1924, when he slugged 27 home runs, hit for a .288 average and knocked in 115 runs.
