Joe Hassler (Joseph Frederick Hassler) was born on April 7, 1905 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on May 26, 1928 for the Philadelphia Athletics. Hassler played for the Philadelphia Athletics and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 3 year career.
