Joe Harris (Joseph Alexander Harris) was born on December 6, 1952 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After going to high school at E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), Harris attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Harris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Colts, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1981 was Joe Harris's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
