Joe Green (Joseph David Green) was born on November 20, 1948 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. After going to high school at Scott (Toledo, OH), Green attended Bowling Green State University. Green made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Joe Green's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
