Joe Geri (Joseph Steven Geri) was born on October 20, 1924 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Geri attended the University of Georgia. Geri made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Joe Geri's best year, as he ran for 705 yards and had a 40.7 yard punt average.
