Joe Gallagher

Joe Gallagher (Joseph Emmett Gallagher) was born on March 7, 1914 in Buffalo, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1939 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1939, his rookie year, he hit .277 with 11 home runs and 49 RBI. Gallagher played for the St. Louis Browns, New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career.
