Joe Foy (Joseph Anthony Foy) was born on February 21, 1943 in New York, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1966 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1966, his rookie year, he hit .262 with 15 home runs and 63 RBI. Foy played for the Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and Washington Senators over the course of his 6 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Joe Foy's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1966, when he slugged 15 home runs and knocked in 63 runs. However, others believe that it was 1969, when he stole 37 bases and knocked in 71 runs.
