Joe Fields (Joseph Charles Fields, Jr.) was born on November 14, 1953 in Woodbury, New Jersey. After going to high school at Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ), Fields attended Rutgers-Camden State University of New Jersey and Widener University. Fields made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and New York Giants over the course of his 14 year career.
