Joe Duckworth (Joseph Walter Duckworth) was born on July 31, 1921 in Orange, New Jersey. After going to high school at Bloomfield (NJ) and Bordentown Military Institute, Duckworth attended Colgate University. Duckworth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
