Joe Danelo (Joseph Peter Danelo) was born on September 2, 1953 in Spokane, Washington. After going to high school at Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), Danelo attended Washington State Universtiy. Danelo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1981 was Joe Danelo's best year, as he made 24 field goals.
