Joe Carollo (Joseph Paul Carollo) was born on March 25, 1940 in Wyandotte, Michigan. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), Carollo attended the University of Notre Dame. Carollo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 12 year career.
