Joe Burks (Joseph Burks) was born on July 8, 1899. After going to high school at Walla Walla (WA), Burks attended Washington State Universtiy. Burks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 1 year career.
