Joe Burke (Joseph Richard Burke) was born on February 9, 1961 in Albany, New York. After going to high school at Bishop Maginn (Albany, NY), Burke attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Burke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
