Joe Boehling

Born on March 20, 1891 in Richmond, Virginia, Joe Boehling (John Joseph Boehling) played for the Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career. Boehling broke into the bigs on June 20, 1912 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 2.14 ERA in 235.1 innings pitched in 1913, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Joe Boehling's best season was 1913, when he posted a 2.14 ERA, won 17 games and struck out 110 batters.
