Joe Barnes (Joseph William Barnes) was born on December 18, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Reagan County (Big Lake, TX), Barnes attended Texas Technical University. Barnes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
