Jimmy Webb (James Rogers Webb) was born on April 13, 1952 in Jackson, Mississippi. After going to high school at Florence (MS), Webb attended Mississippi State University. Webb made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Jimmy Webb's best year.
