Jimmy Sebring (James Dennison Sebring) was born on March 22, 1882 in Liberty, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1902 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1903, his rookie year, he hit .277 with 4 home runs and 64 RBI. Sebring played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Jimmy Sebring's best season was 1903, when he hit for a .277 average and knocked in 64 runs.
