Jimmy Saxton (James Everett Saxton) was born on May 21, 1940 in College Station, Texas. After going to high school at Palestine (TX), Saxton attended the University of Texas. Saxton made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Dallas Texans for his entire 1 year career.
