Jimmy Robertson (James A. Robertson) was born on March 8, 1901. After going to high school at Allegheny Prep (Pittsburgh, PA), Robertson attended Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. Robertson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Akron Pros for his entire 2 year career.
