Jimmy Manion (James Henry Manion) was born on September 20, 1904 in Jasper, Minnesota. After going to high school at St. Mary's (Winona, MN), Manion attended the University of St. Thomas. Manion made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Duluth Eskimos. He played for the Duluth Eskimos for his entire 2 year career.
