Jimmy Jones (James Clyde Jones) was born on March 3, 1941 in Henderson, North Carolina. After going to high school at Eastern (Washington, DC), Jones attended Trinidad State Junior College and the University of Wisconsin. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Chicago Bears. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Chicago Bears the entire time. Jones also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1966 was Jimmy Jones's best year, as he had 504 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
