Jimmy Holifield (James Lee Holifield) was born on January 18, 1946 in Bessemer, Alabama. After going to high school at Abrams (Bessemer, AL), Holifield attended Jackson State University. Holifield made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1969 was Jimmy Holifield's best year.
