Jimmy Hitchcock (Jimmy Davis Hitchcock, Jr.) was born on November 9, 1970 in Concord, North Carolina. After going to high school at Concord (NC), Hitchcock attended the University of North Carolina. Hitchcock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1998 was Jimmy Hitchcock's best year, as he picked off 7 passes and ran back 3 interceptions for touchdowns.
