Born on September 5, 1972 in LaGrange, Georgia, Jimmy Haynes (Jimmy Wayne Haynes) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 10 year career. Haynes broke into the bigs on September 13, 1995 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 8.29 ERA in 89 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jimmy Haynes's best season was 2002, when he posted a 4.12 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 126 batters.
