Jimmy Files (James Dale Files) was born on January 16, 1948 in Paris, Arkansas. After going to high school at Southside (Fort Smith, AR), Files attended the University of Oklahoma. Files made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Jimmy Files's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
