Jimmy Carr (James Henry Carr) was born on March 25, 1933 in Kayford, West Virginia. After going to high school at East Bank (WV), Carr attended the College of Charleston. Carr made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1955 was Jimmy Carr's best year.
