Jimmy Allen (James Lee Allen) was born on March 6, 1952 in Clearwater, Florida. After going to high school at Los Angeles (CA), Allen attended Pierce College and the University of California - Los Angeles. Allen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1981 was Jimmy Allen's best year, as he picked off 9 passes.
