Jim Winkler

Jim Winkler (James C. Winkler) was born on July 21, 1927 in Moody, Texas. After going to high school at Temple (TX), Winkler attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Winkler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was Jim Winkler's best year.
