Jim Ward (James Edgar Harold Ward) was born on July 16, 1944 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. After going to high school at Gaithersburg (MD), Ward attended Gettysburg College. Ward made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1967 was Jim Ward's best year.
